Privacy Policy

Effective May 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how ienoX ("ienoX", "we", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the ienoX website and the ienoX MCP server (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information. When you sign up — either with an email and password or with Google or GitHub — we receive your name, email address, and (for OAuth sign-in) your profile picture.
  • Billing information. If you subscribe, payment details are collected and processed by Stripe. We store the Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, not your card number.
  • Integration data. If you connect third-party services (Stripe, GitHub, Linear, Mercury, PostHog, Slack, etc.), we store the OAuth tokens or credentials you provide so we can fetch the data you ask the MCP server to surface.
  • Usage data. We collect basic analytics (page views, performance metrics, error logs) through Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to keep the Service running reliably.

2. How we use information

  • To create and authenticate your account.
  • To provide the MCP server functionality you request.
  • To process subscriptions and handle billing.
  • To communicate important service updates and respond to support requests.
  • To detect, prevent, and investigate abuse or security issues.

3. Google user data

When you sign in with Google, ienoX receives only your basic profile information (name, email address, profile picture) using the standard openid, email, and profilescopes. We use this information solely to identify your account. We do not sell or share Google user data, and we do not use it for advertising. ienoX's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. How information is stored

Account and integration data is stored in a managed Postgres database (Neon). Payment information is held by Stripe under their own security and compliance program. The Service is hosted on Vercel. All traffic to and from the Service is encrypted with TLS.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers that make ienoX work — Neon, Stripe, Vercel, and the OAuth providers you choose to connect — and only to the extent needed to operate the Service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ienoX or its users.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Access and update. You can view and update your account information at any time from your account page.
  • Delete your account. You can delete your account and associated data from the account page. This removes your user record and disconnects integrations.
  • Revoke OAuth access. You can revoke ienoX's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account permissions.

7. Data retention

We retain account and integration data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your user record promptly. Limited records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or audit purposes.

8. Children

The Service is not intended for individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email. The "Effective" date above reflects the latest revision.
